we got out but at what price?

Post by Hannah van de Berg on May 22, 2020 23:38:17 GMT
Hearing carmen talk about death made hannah a bit tense. Yes someone could die. If anything SHE could have been dead. Hannah looked down rubbing her temples. Her head was pounding. Everything went way too fast. This could not be happening. She would wake up on one side of the small bed she and freya shared together. She would eat some stale bread and drink some water while talking about her dream with the pink haired girl and laugh about the image of huxley with his face stuffed with cheese. They would laugh to stay sane and find a way out.
" NO ONE KNOWS " She gasped and jumped as the professor next to her was yelling at the group. She got pale as she looked at the group. If this was a dream why were all these people here. Why did she feel so awake. Hannah was so extremely tense she felt like she could cry. However she would not let herself. Not now. Not here. People started to assure the man that it was fine and hannah shakily nodded with a small smile. The man was stressed. She could imagine.
When suddenly the man dressed in black started to go off on geoff she was absolutely dumbfounded. Did this man really think.. that geoff had anything to do with this? She looked at geoff who took the high route. The air was super tense. Almost as if they could cut it with a knife. The announcer voice did not make it better. Hannah took a deep breath trying to stay calm.
Listening to the boy girl theory she nodded slowly. She looked at the only male people in the room she actually knew. Geoff and Huxley. Geoff was quick to turn to her. She nodded. "Ofcourse I would pair up with you.. you have done nothing but try and make things.. bearable. I trust you" she said. She fully believed Geoff was a victim just like anyone else in the room. That was also why she did not like to hear Dean snap at Geoff once again. She had had it. "Wat is in godsnaam-- What is your goddamn problem?!" She asked Dean. "Do you REALLY think that any of us want to be here? Do you really think that if Geoff had anything to do with this he would actively take on the tasks that would make people dislike him? That does not make any sense..! If you want to know he has been nothing but helpful. So I don't know what issues you two need to work out but lets be real here, geoff is in the same situation as we are and you have absolutely no reason to go off the way you have been doing." She told Dean. She looked back at geoff. " Geoff, I would like to pair up with you however if you think that you have something to prove to show dean you have nothing to do with this.. I can understand if you want to pair up with him instead." She said giving the man a nod. It was his choice.

And they said smart guys couldn’t be funny. This guy was smart. But man was he do everything to get on Geoff’s side the completely wrong way. There were too many things in this stake but Geoff was positive one thing. A lot of this had to do with communication and trust, Whoever this man was, he had none of those. Geoff had considered asking Greg, or even Carmen, but he didn’t trust them as much as he would have liked to admit. The only person he truly trusted was Hannah. She wasn’t even giving signs of a bad card. Geoff supposed a good poker face was part of the draw. Was that what they were supposed to do? Find ways through nonverbal cues that they had either a good card or a bad card?
Geoff did the math in his head. If there were 10 people here, and two of the cards decided some fates, there was…an 85% chance that most of the people would make it out okay if they simply followed the rules. But like the other games, a factor of fear was being put into it.
Hannah spoke up, and that fear became admiration. She was not backing down from telling him to back off. She was the only one in the group that really saw any sort of good. Greg wanted to pair off with Carmen, he heard. Well, it seemed this was coming together better than he expected.
He had his answer.
“You know, had you asked nicely as opposed to throwing all my mistakes back in my face, I would have considering partnering with you. So, hard pass there, friend. If you see her again or end up next door to her, tell Emer there’s two sides to every story.”
Geoff turned back to the blue bracelet towards his “bride”. There. the deal was sealed. This time without being forced.

And they were clueless, clueless on how to pair them up— So, so for all her worth.. She was trying to rethink her entire—mental—list, but oddly enough. She didn’t expect to get 'help' from the same source; CeCe. The comment on male and female pairings made sense, sure she had to rethink, but what mattered was being right. They couldn’t fail at pairing the right hearts. For all their sakes. Her eyes peered to the side at her drunken and emotional professor, what happened to him..? It was like he was a shell of what he once was, she remembered a more composed, fun and relaxed individual teaching her. Teaching her and understanding what she went through; a real help in her recovery and.. Seeing him like this... It was just.. Sad, sighing as she looked down and even though she wanted to comfort him; part of her knew their wasn’t enough time. “I’m sorry...” Muttering softly. Part of her just wanted to reassure him, knowing that what she said made him get this emotional and wrapped up in his feelings; no pun intended. Just made her chest sink. As well as the realization as to how it affected Hannah, “...” Looking at her sadly for a bit before directing her gaze elsewhere. —As she remembered what CeCe had said, she tried to contextualize it all, in the grand scheme of things— A russian roulette game where Hannah won a wedding with Geoff, otherwise where else would she and him get those clothes? Doubt they’d dress up like that in their rooms and now it’s like some date-night with 'friends'. That put her in a better frame of things, one more thing off her mental list. So, she was in agreement with her and Gregory. But the peace stopped when Dean just said: —"Geoff. Quit the gentlemanly act. Take this and stick with me. If you're going to play sick games like this, at least pair yourself off with someone you don't know. Then again, I've heard you like aiming a gun at people you know, so perhaps this is par for the course."— And that man really couldn’t stop picking on Geoff, sure. She understood that a shooter didn’t get a good rep. Wasn’t something he did out of choice. These moral dilemmas just came as part of her occupational bundle. So, giving Dean a sharp glare, “I understand why you’re annoyed— even upset, but he didn’t have a choice in the matter. It’s easy to pick on him; all things considered but if you were in his position, you wouldn’t have done any better.” Extremely easy to take the moral high ground when you were a third party or on the outside of the fences, but this really isn’t the time. But... Before she could have possibly thought of now who it could’ve been. I swear, no clues, no hints and barely any time. Not able to help herself for a hot-minute, she growled lowly in frustration... She was going to complain until she heard— —"Please, pick your partner."— She heard people rushing to choose, now or never. But that voice, it.. It wasn’t the same as the one before. Who could the person be now? Carmen saw her as an accomplice and who knows... Maybe the perpetrator but something about the tone of voice was just not making her believe that this girl was the latter. She sighed, hearing the people talk. Hell, she even had some 'suitors'. Great, now I’m thinking this. —"Hey, Hux... wanna pair up?"— Said Lydia, Carmen waited but alright. Then she heard— —"Uh, I'm not sure if I caught your name, but do you want to pair with me? You don't have to of course."— She glanced over to Silvio, smiling. “Thank you but, I think you should pair with someone else.” Before glancing over to 'suitor' numero dos. Because that’s when you know she’s reached her wits end. — "I'm sorry, miss. I hope my refuse will not so painful to you. I wanna ask miss Carmen about team-up. I understand that the all colors where chosen, but... I wanna hear your thoughts, miss Carmen!" She smiled over to him, apparently the man wanted to pair up after saying no to Cece’s offer. Well, maybe this could work out. “Well, I’d be happy to pair up.” Giving a warm smile over to him, now just pray everyone’s paired up well enough. Since she didn’t want to see people dying for whatever reason. Especially when their was some chance of controlling it. Since 85% chance just wasn’t good enough when it could be 100%. She smiled over to Geoff and Hannah, that was really sweet actually. «Sighs.» Shame it had to be a matrimony in hell. Plus that part with Geoff shutting down Dean made her smile even more— now that was a good note to end on. Smirking a little.

"Maybe Cece but it would have to be okay with the rest of the group" said Belle. The voice come over the room as it made Belle jumped a little in her seat. "Pick your partner but I don't know anyone here" thought Belle as she watch as some player grabs some of the bracelets. She watch as she people started to get into group like it was nothing but also some people where getting turned down.
It kinda was like children on the playground, Belle knew this feeling all too well as she was use to be picked last for any game but she has to push down those feeling. Belle looked around the room. She kinda knew how to get an read on people but it wasn't helping that much at this time.
Belle looked at the man with a mustache "Would you like to be partner?" asked Belle as she knew that she wouldn't be pick and she was use to sitting on the sideline.

Silvio glanced at the man who had first been asked by Cece now ask about pairing up with the same woman he had asked to. Carmen was her name, which immediately brought the image of the thief in red who stole from other thieves in Silvio's head. But it seems both his and Cece's offers were refused, and in a twisted way the familiar feeling of rejection perked up his ugly head. However, he just brushed it off. These two seemed to know each other, so of course, they would pair up.
"It's fine." Silvio said to Carmen, and before he could ask from someone else, for his surprise, the young girl with dyed hair asked him. Silvio turned to her, once more trying to give a small smile. "Sure thing." Silvio agreed, giving Isabelle the other green bracelet, "What was your name?"

"Wat is in godsnaam-- What is your goddamn problem?!"
Dean was spooked by the sudden outburst from the bride, who quickly continued:
"Do you REALLY think that any of us want to be here? Do you really think that if Geoff had anything to do with this he would actively take on the tasks that would make people dislike him? That does not make any sense..! If you want to know he has been nothing but helpful. So I don't know what issues you two need to work out but lets be real here, Geoff is in the same situation as we are and you have absolutely no reason to go off the way you have been doing"
Oh sure, he'd be nothing but helpful to her, his bride. Of course he would. The Stockholm syndrome was real in this one.
"You know, had you asked nicely as opposed to throwing all my mistakes back in my face, I would have considering partnering with you. So, hard pass there, friend. If you see her again or end up next door to her, tell Emer there’s two sides to every story."
Wow, not only did he brush him off earlier, but now he had the audacity to say Dean must tell Emer there are two sides to a story? Did he even hear what he was saying? Dean was about to speak again when blonde two seats over chimed in:
"I understand why you’re annoyed— even upset, but he didn’t have a choice in the matter. It’s easy to pick on him; all things considered but if you were in his position, you wouldn’t have done any better."
Oh for- - Christ. Dean turned to the blonde.
"First of all, if he didn't have a choice in the matter, why did he point what I can only suspect was a loaded gun towards people that he knew, before even starting on people he didn't know? No sane person does that. Secondly, even if his arm was forced, there's a right way of responding to it, and a wrong one. Screaming at one of the people that was traumatized by his 'forced' actions, is not the right way, and never will be. Thirdly, were I in his situation I would be under no illusions about my morality. Had I been in his place, forced to pull the trigger on innocent women, not knowing whether or not they'd die, I'd at least have the courage to own up to that fact, to respect the trauma that those women were going through, and not make it all about myself."
Without dropping a beat, Dean turned to Geoff:
"I am not your friend, Geoff, quit it with the friendly act. You say there's two sides to the story, yet you are blatantly ignoring Emer's side. For christs sake, Geoff, she wakes up in the night seeing your face, pulling the trigger of a gun pointed at her. I don't think you realize how much you've hurt that woman. You say you're sorry, but your actions say you're not. She, rightfully so, thought a psychopath was about to shoot her. Upon hearing that, your first reaction, from what I'm told, was to scream at her for insulting you. In what world is that the correct action to take when you're faced with someone who is traumatized by your own actions? What you're doing is a bullshit attempt at whataboutism, and one of many signs of gaslighting. You're taking on the role of a victim, while attempting to silence the actual victims."
Dean continued, waving to the room as if to speak to them all.
"And I don't get how I'm the only one who's seeing this. The man proclaims remorse, yet shows none of it, and you're all gobbling it up as if his word was law. You're about a pint deep in Kool Aid at the moment, and he's feeding you more. I just don't get it."
The man forcefully removed his bracelet, angrily grabbed the white one he'd offered Geoff, then chucked them to the middle of the table.
"I don't fucking care who pairs up with me. You do whatever you want." he said, while defeatedly sinking back down in his chair.

Please pick your partner the voice demanded. Now? Already?? No he wasn’t ready, what is he going to do? Should he just wait it out till the end? Pick a bracelet and let fate decide? “Now” the voice boomed overhead. The poor professor was starting to hyperventilate. Not good, not good. Just pick a bracelet, but he shouldn’t… he looked around the room. People arguing, tensions rising, everyone was greatly affected by the situation. They shouldn’t fight with each other. Maybe they could still come up with a plan to get out of here instead? “Follow the rules and no one gets hurt…” “Black and Red heart must go together” But HOW?! Before Huxley could decide on what to do, he looked up, as he heard the familiar female voice.
“Hey, Hux…” Lydia. One of his favourite students, always eager to learn, determined and kind. Her and Sawyer didn’t always get along, which the professor never understood. They were both similar in many ways.
“Wanna pair up?" ...pair up? No...no, not with her, he couldn’t. Why did she have to ask? He could’ve just waited it out, come up with something. He was still responsible for her safety even if they were in a situation like this, she was still his student. Huxley was about to say no, when he noticed the color of the bracelet Lydia chose. W-was it an accident, or.. could it be?
The others were already choosing partners. Did he have much of a choice? No, but perhaps his student did. He slowly took the bracelet, from her hands. “I- I hope you’re sure about this…” he said, looking into her eyes, with a serious, cold expression. Lydia could only guess what the professor was trying to convey. It wasn’t too late, she still had a choice.

Little tip, woman to woman - don't piss off the diabolical ones.

Post by CeCe Pierce on May 23, 2020 10:45:20 GMT
CeCe was over it. She wanted to throw the bottle of wine against Greg's and or Carmen's head. I avoided cops for so long.. if she is my downfall..I swear to god-... Even though she didn't pick Greg because she felt completely safe with it, out of all of the options it seemed the best. „Painful?“, CeCe repeated sarcastically, „You certainly didn't hurt my little dainty heart. I am just pissed.“ CeCe said and tossed her yellow bracelet back on the table. „Have fun with that one“, she said and looked over to Carmen.
The conflict between Geoff, Hannah and the black haired guy next to her got more and more intense. It was quite the scene to behold. But, who could blame them? They all were under such pressure, except for obviously one person. At least CeCe could understand their worries. It ended with her table-neighbor being left with no partner. Great! Perfect! All I FUCKING wanted was not to be the last one.
Silvio and Belle paired up in between this madness as well. Just like Huxley and the ginger. He seemed unsure as well.
„You better not be my downfall“, she said to her neighbor and picked up the white bracelets. After putting on one of them, she threw the other one to the guy.
„And you, detective - Carmen“, CeCe said angry and turned to her, „My full name is Cecaelia Pierce. The least thing you can do is take care of my father if all of this goes wrong.“

People becomes angry and panic with every minute. Gregory tried to stay calm down and stay as a real gentleman. Carmen smiled to him and agreed to team up and he appreciates that. He took her small tender hand and said just "Thank you".
He hopes that he didn't mistake in his thoughts. And also, Carmen looked as a smart woman too. She really knows what she did even if they both don't have bracelets.
The young guy started to blame Geoff. It was ridiculous. This hipster can't work together with a kidnapper. He just was a victim of such cruel games.
- "Geoff!" the old man said this a bit loud and this is only scary a poor guy. "I trust you too. No matter what you going through, Hanna believes you. And this means so much. Also, you helped me, even if we had a small conflict earlier. You a real gentleman and I hope, you doing right. Take care about miss Hanna."
- "I don't fucking care who pairs up with me. You do whatever you want." The young guy trow his bracelets and here was the chance. Bit, Cece where first. Seems that woman where really upsets about Gregory's chose. But, he still thought that he was right.
- "Miss Cece... I'm really sorry." Gregory took the yellow bracelets, that's Cece leaves and give one for Carmen. Now, the are team-up.

Post by Carmen Edinburgh on May 23, 2020 15:28:13 GMT
Carmen looked at the group, Silvio and a woman with magenta highlights paired up— her hair looks amazing. Always wanted highlights, had bleach blonde highlights when she was seventeen; thought it gave her gold locks some dimensions. Didn’t regret it then, still don’t now. Appreciating Isabelle’s hair and even the tattoo over her upper chest, the birds looked like they were departing. The Silvio’s calming response, simple, understanding and cooling. To which, she gave him an appreciative smile and looked at Greg. She noticed how they all had bracelets except me and Greg. But alas, the cool atmosphere was tainted by Dean talking, loudly. When he eyed her, she took a cracker between her two fingers and delicately biting it as she gave him an amused smile. As if she was eating popcorn at the movies, a drama and thriller. Hearing him talk like the debate-kids in her old school. —"First of all, if he didn't have a choice in the matter, why did he point what I can only suspect was a loaded gun towards people that he knew, before even starting on people he didn't know?—" Did it occur to you he didn’t have a choice who sat where? Quietly listening to him ramble on and on. —"No sane person does that. Secondly, even if his arm was forced, there's a right way of responding to it, and a wrong one. Screaming at one of the people that was traumatized by his 'forced' actions, is not the right way, and never will be. "— “Screamed?” Looking blankly at him, if he screamed at the event at one of the victims, surely Keriari would have written it with some warning. But she doubted it, with how Geoff was being cool and collected through the man’s verbal-lashings, she doubted he would have screamed at the other victims. “If he’s not screaming at you right now, why would he scream at a victim?” She just asked plainly. Plus him saying forced as if it wasn’t actually him being forced. My brain’s so dead. Her head turning to mush, which was rare. But it was just humorously tired, making her eat her cracker a little slower. —"Thirdly, were I in his situation I would be under no illusions about my morality. Had I been in his place, forced to pull the trigger on innocent women, not knowing whether or not they'd die, I'd at least have the courage to own up to that fact, to respect the trauma that those women were going through, and not make it all about myself."— “How is he being delusional about his morality?” That was subjective, and as much as putting a gun to an innocent person’s head wasn’t good under numerous philosophical theories; Geoff never once justified that. They just knew he was forced too. God, pick a better argument. She sighed, guess we have a white knight on our hands. “When was that the ever the case? Really, he didn’t say they didn’t go through anything.” Looking at him with a frown now, “We’re just saying that he was forced to by someone who could actually be running this whole saga.” Then— Eugh.. The woman yawned. The rest of what he said did register, she was just not interested in engaging more. But she started wondering when this man turned into some psychiatrist? Talking about how he was silencing victims, he isn’t silencing you. So why would he silence a victim? Oh— because they insulted him? Something didn’t add up. Silencing victims for insults but when when a guy’s lashing out at him. “So he silenced her during the event? Or…?” Raising an eyebrow, as her cracker was done. Nothing but dusty flecks on her fingers, delicious ajinomoto and blended nicely. —She was just wondering how that man wasn’t exhausted by now, then again— rage makes people all talkative. At least he was speaking coherent sentences and not just saying curses. The professor and Lydia were talking, he seemed… Unsure? Wonder why. Lydia seemed fine, at least in the pairing department. Then she heard something that got her attention fully: —"Painful?" She saw the other woman say sarcastically. Glad she’s taking it well. Sarcasm, it was petty but no one was really above that. Not now, or at some other point in their lives. —"You certainly didn't hurt my little dainty heart. I am just pissed."— That and frustrated and petty and— Probably more things that she wasn’t in the mood to list, because everyone had a clear picture. Then the— ‘have fun with that one’, eying Greg and letting out a small chuckle of amusement before looking back at Cece. How she just threw the bracelet at the guy [Dean], Carmen just gave an amused laugh, a quiet one. Cordial enough to introduce herself, but not hand a bracelet. Either way, it was sort of humorous. In a schadenfreude sort of way. Hey, she wasn’t ever known as a saint— probably not going to change now. —"And you, detective – Carmen"— The detective didn’t need to investigate all that much to realize her rage, “Look, since I agreed to your deal, how about you agree to this— keep the attitude to a minimum with me.” Simply, don’t bite the hand that feeds you. As known as— the one that could throw you in jail the minute this was all over. —"My full name is Cecaelia Pierce. The least thing you can do is take care of my father if all of this goes wrong."— That— caught her by surprise, especially since she had no responsibility towards him before. But that tapped her more empathetic side. “Not well?” She said with a sad smile. Even though she knew that when Cecaelia said— ‘all this goes wrong’ boils down to her potentially dying. But… Criminal or not— she wouldn’t let that happen. Nur über meine Leiche. Not over her dead body. She smiled, well.. Isn’t Greg just sweet. Actually, she might’ve seen him before.. Kim. Looking up at him as she took the yellow bracelet. Huh, it actually fits well. Color-wise. “Hm, you know Kim, right? You look familiar.” Smiling softly at him.

Lydia turned to look at the others in this predicament. Most of them appeared to be so secure in their choices, except the one who she ended up choosing.
“I- I hope you’re sure about this…” Her old professor stammered, but she soon reassured.
"I am. Don't worry..." The redhead smiled. She chose him because she trusted him. The rest of the folks at the table seemed nice, but they lacked that connection that they shared.

Belle took the green bracelet from this man. "I'm Belle Khan" she said with a small smile before sliding the bracelet on her wrist. The other black hair man looked kinda pissed off, she know it must be hard on some people but still they could learn that things maybe okay.
"Thank you for being my partner mister" said Belle as she didn't know his name. Belle hope that they would be all okay after this game as she could feel her heart beating fast in her chest.

Dean pinched the bridge of his nose. The blonde kept talking to him. Not only had she not gotten the gist of what he was saying, she was picking at very specific threads that didn't matter, all while not addressing the actual points he was making. She was arguing semantics, skirting the issue. God, she was stupid.
"You better not be my downfall" he heard from his left, just in time to get a white bracelet thrown in his face, thanks to his being lost in thought. The sender was a woman with charcoal hair, in stark contrast to the blonde one seated further away from him. She turned to said blonde as she spoke in an angry tone: "And you, detective - Carmen. My full name is Cecaelia Pierce. The least thing you can do is take care of my father if all of this goes wrong." Dean was flabbergasted. The blonde was a detective? Yet she blatantly ignored the warnings signs that Dean had presented for her? They really hired anyone these days.
Another thing bothered him. All these people seemed to be worried about something dangerous, something scary, happening. So much so that this woman, Cecaelia, felt it necessary to give her full name to someone she clearly despised. Strange. The rules that were read out aloud in the beginning said nothing of the sort, just that cheaters would be punished, as any good parlor game would. Of course, with Geoff most likely being behind all this, like a veritable H.H. Holmes, Dean suspected he'd be more likely to make it a mental trauma rather than physical one. Still, how everyone seemed to think that their very lives were in danger was a bit offputting. Perhaps Geoff had instilled a fear of death along with the Kool Aid, like the charismatic cult leader he clearly was. There was hardly any other way to explain why these people were so trusting of a man that should, by his actions, defy all trust. He sighed, there wasn't much to gain discussing this with anyone. They'd likely dismiss him, as if he was the insane one. In reality he was likely the sanest one here, disregarding what some might perceive as paranoia regarding them. He turned to Carmen. If she truly was a detective, she should be able to see some reason. Perhaps he might even stay calm enough to not be dismissed as a raving maniac. Geoff had a way of making him a tiny bit more annoyed than he should be though.
"Carmen, that's your name, yeah? See, obviously he would act proper in a crowd. You can see it on him right now. He doesn't say or do anything, for fear that he'll reveal the sociopath lying underneath. As to whether he's truly forced, I say this: He was part of one 'Event', for lack of better word, wherein he traumatized innocent women. Afterwards, he apparently got married in another 'Event' and now, he's here. Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is a pattern. He's been part of all of these things, yet you don't think he's got anything to do with it? He's just unlucky enough to have been picked three times by an unknown other that you have no idea who is? Honestly, with how far up his ass your head is, you'd think you'd smell the bullshit, but apparently you don't. Enjoy the goddamn Kool Aid. Don't come crying to me when you keel over from the cyanide."
Dean turned away from her, shaking his head. He took the white bracelet, casting a glance at Cecaelia.
"I understand that I'm not your first choice, given your delightful introduction." He said to her, sliding the bracelet on his hand, then reaching forward for his glass of wine. "But contrary to what everyone here surely thinks, I can be a gentleman. My name's Dean Gray, no relation. I hope your day isn't completely ruined by my debate, and I hope to be an amicable partner in whatever sick ideas Mr Penguin decides to put us through next."
Dean turned away from the woman, raising his glass for a toast.
"A toast, to dear, honourable Geoff, the Gentleman. May you live in interesting times. May you be recognized by people in high places. And finally, May you find what you're looking for." he said in a loud voice and smiled, then downed the rest of the wine in a single gulp.

At long last, everyone was properly paired up, all of them wearing their matching colored bracelets. Why did it take so long? They seemed much more interested in picking fights at such a crucial moment than they were actually playing the game. She apprehensively bit her lower lip; it’d dragged on, but now it was finally over, and she could breathe. Gathering her courage once more, she spoke, in the same calm, yet determined tone from earlier.
“The pairs have been chosen. Now…” she took a pause, before ending in a more pressing way. “Reveal your cards.”

Silvio hadn't realized he had been just staring at a random spot on the table until th voice spoke again. It snapped Silvio from his thoughts, and the nauseous feeling inside of him returned. It gripped his stomach and twisted it hard like the one time he had eaten two days old Chinese leftovers. He didn't want to throw up this time exactly, but he just wanted it to be over. He sighed, nervously rubbing his face.
His thoughts started to wander around and race again, but Silvio just took a deep breath. And without a word, he picked his card and showed it to everyone on the table.
A circle.
