Shake what your mama gave ya!

There was the headache again as she woke up. She groaned a little as she moved her head and propped herself up with her elbows. She felt groggy and heavy. As she took in the room she noticed the surprising change in quality in it. New room, so that meant a new roommate. She looked to her right and then to her left and who she saw gave her a mixed reaction of happy relief and also panic. The first impulse was to hug him but the second was that she had not showered in a month it felt like and she was painfully aware that she must reek by now. If this was a new room there might be a working shower or even a sink. She began to push herself up from the bed and stumbling to the floor when her feet were not quite awake yet. Slowly but steadily she made her way to the bathroom and kept reciting the prayer of please there being a shower or something over and over again. When she saw the shower she felt like she could fall onto her knees and thank God for this miracle. But deciding there were more pressing matters She undid the robe and removed her underwear and got in to the shower. It seemed the heavens were smiling on her for there was even soap this time. She used it to wash her hair and to wash her body, paying extra attention to the half healed cuts that she finally got the chance to clean all the gunk off of . When she was done she wrung her hair dry and stood there naked for a moment to dry off a little. During that time she decided to take the mirror from the wall and use it to look through her body at her cuts. It did look like most of them would leave scars, and it made her tear up that her body would forever have white stripes like a tiger. But the fate of her lip saddened her more. It was so on display and it sickened her. She doubted any plastic surgeon would be able to completely fix it. She put the mirror onto the floor against the wall, turning it so the reflective surface was turned towards the wall and proceeded to put her bra back on and then the robe. It was easy to wrap it tightly around her body and then keep it in place with the sash, but there were always areas it tended to want to expose. She walked back to the room hoping to see Silvio awake. But yet there were butterflies fluttering in her stomach. They had talked and she had told him about what happened but yet he had not seen her with her injuries, despite Katherine's best efforts she still had this fear of being rejected for not being beautiful anymore. When she returned back to the room he was still sleeping. She moved over to sit next to him on the bed. What was it he had said about the girl he had woken up touching him? That she had been touching his face? Would he freak out if she did the same? She wondered if he would like or dislike her touch. She reached her hand out and brushed some hair away from his forehead as gently as she could. Then with the back of her knuckles gently stroking his cheek. He really needed a shave and it looked like he had lost some weight. God only knew she had lost weight too with the steady diet of stale bread and water. She wondered what he would eat as his first proper meal when he got out. Claudie removed her hand from his face and brought it to take his hand in hers and held it in her lap.

Luckily for Claudette, Silvio was a heavy sleeper. He was just so exhausted from the two weeks of only eating bread and getting little water. So when the gas came again, he was just truly knocked out into restless sleep. It was sleeping for sure. But not the kind of one needed to feel well-rested. Though even in the rooms he had had a good bed, Silvio did wake up restless and anxious. He wanted to believe help as on its way, but part of him couldn't believe it was coming anymore.
It had been weeks. Too many of them had already died or gotten hurt. And who knows how many of them would still die? He might die any day now. But then again, would it even be possible to return to the normal life after this? After what they all had gone trough, is there normal anymore? Does he even have anything to return to? His apartment could be gone, his games, lava lamps and everything. But Silvio was ready to trade away all that for his freedom and safety. And for everyone else's too. But it was useless to bargain with the woman.
Silvio grunted, feeling someone touch him again. For a brief moment he felt confused, why would Greg touch him like that? But as he opened his eyes, he was greeted by a familiar sight. A blonde woman, right in front of him. But this time it was Claudette. "Claudie!" Silvio gasped, quickly sitting up. "Is it... is it really you?" he asked, taking a good look on her, to make sure she wasn't just some figment of his imagination or sleep paralysis demon. The lip did look like it had hurt bad, but it didn't affect what he thought about her one bit. "Man am I glad to see you..." Silvio sighed. Claudette being here meant they wouldn't need to participate in a sick game.

Absent mindedly she kept stroking his hand and her thoughts running away with her when she suddenly heard a gasp and someone exclaim her name. She came back to earth and turned her head to look at him. Seeing him sit up and she couldn't help but to smile. "Sorry, did I wake you?" She asked although she was happy that he was awake.
"Is it... is it really you? Man am I glad to see you..." He sounded so happy to see her that she felt a little choked up from the sheer joy. She could see him look her up and down and then back to looking her in the eyes. She could see no judgement in his eyes, and she could not hold the tears anymore. "I'm sorry... I am just so glad to see you again...." She said starting to wipe away the tears but they just kept coming. The amount of tears she had shed here could be used to fill a waterpark she was sure.

"It's fine, don't say sorry." Silvio was quick to point out as he watched Claudette. It really was her. She was with him again. And he was happy about it, even if it would be just for two weeks. But at least he wouldn't have to fear for her, fear that was she even alive anymore. He let out a deep sigh, pulling Claudie into a warm and tight hug to comfort her, and to comfort himself too. "It's... it's okay Claudie..." he sighed, "It's gonna be okay..."

She felt so safe in his arms. It made all the suffering she had been through the past month or so worth it. She was glad he had not suffered as much as she or others had. Although she feared that tide might be turning with this strange Maria interested in him now. She hugged him tighter to herself and buried her head at the groove of his neck and shoulder. "I hope so... I don't know how long I can take anymore of this place... I had really dark thoughts for a while and if it hadn't been for you and Katherine I don't know how I would have ended up..." She confessed while nuzzling closer to him. Just dreaming about that date they were going to go to was something she felt would keep her looking forward to getting out. Although she had to admit that staying positive and motivated was a daily struggle. Their daily talks through the wall had helped allot, but to have him in the flesh was a completely different thing. The next few weeks she would get him all to herself and neither of them needed to worry about if they were still alive or not. She couldn't help a little laugh and a smile. "I hope you don't mind, but I really don't want to let you go now. Or ever. I have so looked forward to seeing you again." She felt like a silly girl right now but she didn't care.

"I'm not sure how long I can stand this either." Silvio admitted with a heavy sigh, all of them were suffering. And the worst thing was that they couldn't do anything but wait for help. Wait like animals in cages for their rescue to come. At this point, Silvio was ready to even accept help from the aliens or lizard people. Anyone really. "I'm not letting go." Silvio chuckled, "I... really need you too." he said softly, closing his eyes and just enjoying the presence of Claudette. He couldn't know how long she would be here, or how long he would be here. But no matter how long that would be a day or weeks. Silvio was going to appreciate her company more than ever. "I hope we can have that date soon."

"I'm not sure how long I can stand this either." It saddened to hear that he was almost at his breaking point too. She ran her hand up and down his back in comforting circles. "Well.. If you are interested I know a good therapist if you feel like you need one after this..." She said half jokingly but also she meant it. "I can even pay it for you since... I kind of feel if I hadn't gotten the woman fired.... None of us would be here.... You wouldn't be suffering.... People would be still alive..." It weighed on the back of her mind what the woman had said. She knew she couldn't take credit for this woman's insanity, but yet she couldn't wash her hands clean from the idea that she was the straw that broke the camels back.
"I'm not letting go." When he said that it really moved her heart. Tears rising to her eyes again. "I... really need you too." "I am glad to hear that. At least we have each other here since we have no idea how the people in the outside are missing us."
"I hope we can have that date soon." She shifted a little to look up at him. "Well.... We have a few weeks... We could... come up with something to do during that time..." She suggested. Stale bread and water was not much of a date meal but at least they could get to know one another better. "Like date 0,5?"

Silvio chuckled weakly. "I think we all are going to need some therapy after this..." he sighed, a good day for them. The collective trauma of all of them surely would give them a lot of profit, maybe this was just a secret conspiracy and arranged kidnapping and testing. Testing how they act in a circumstance like this, and to, well, turn it into profit as well. "No... Claudie, don't blame yourself." Silvio said quickly. "It's not your fault, she could have just gotten angry at anyone else too and... well, done this." he pointed out.
"Well..." Silvio looked around, "We can take the date 0,5 to the window and admire the scenery. Ya know, it's the best seat in the place." he chuckled weakly.

"I think we all are going to need some therapy after this..." She laughed a little at this. All the people here would need so much therapy it was unreal. She was not even probably the worst off here and yet she felt she would be going to therapy over this fro decades. "Have you ever been to therapy before?" She asked suddenly. Had there been some trauma in his life that would have made him in need to talk to one.
"No... Claudie, don't blame yourself." She looked up at him when he said that. He didn't blame her? Or perhaps she was projecting her own feelings on him. "It's not your fault, she could have just gotten angry at anyone else too and... well, done this." She thought about his words and it did make sense. Indeed she could have been the worst person the woman could have met before getting herself fired because of her or not. Or indeed someone else would have been the unfortunate one to get her fired. And now that she thought of it. There had to be other reasons contributing to her getting fired than just her complaint. "I know you are right...." She hugged to him tighter. "The thought is just hard to get rid off..." One thing in this place was that you had allot of time to think by yourself. And she had to admit she got stuck to the negative thoughts allot. It was like they just kept echoing in her head until she finally believed them to be true and accepted them.
"Well..." She pulled a little away when he began to look around. Trying to follow his gaze. "We can take the date 0,5 to the window and admire the scenery. Ya know, it's the best seat in the place." She smirked a little. "You want to move the bed over there so we can sit there and watch?" She asked turning to look at him and raising her eyebrow. Easily together they could carry the bed over there and sit there together looking at sunset or sunrise or maybe there might be animals scurrying about. "You turn out to be quite the romantic mr Silvio." She complimented in a flirting tone.

"No... I haven't..." Silvio admitted, perhaps he would have had to before. Now that he thought about it. There had been the feeling of the empty void inside of him for a long time, but he hadn't ever considered he would need help with it. "I get it, but just... keep telling yourself it wasn't your fault." he sighed, softly stroking her hair.
Silvio laughed, "That's the first time someone has called me romantic." he stated. None of his previous partners had said that, and well, he had never been too keen to the romantic stuff.
"And sure, we could move the bed. If we are lucky we just might see a raccoon or a fox. Or maybe even both."

"No... I haven't..." She gave him a soft smile. "Well don't be afraid, it's not as bad as it sometimes shown in the movies." She tried to joke knowing how many movies and tv shows liked to include a psychopath therapist. She reached up to poke his cheek a little. "I know a good one I can recommend."
"I get it, but just... keep telling yourself it wasn't your fault." She leaned into the touch that was stroking her hair. Sighing happily. "I try.." She closed her eyes for a moment to try and save this moment into her mind, just so she could go back to think about it when he would not be there.
"That's the first time someone has called me romantic." This surprised her and she had to laugh. "Really? What kind of women have you dated before this?" She asked teasingly.
"And sure, we could move the bed. If we are lucky we just might see a raccoon or a fox. Or maybe even both." "Sure!" She said getting up and moving to the other side of the bed while he would pick the other. Helping him lift it up and to the window. Once it was in position she sat back down and had him sit right next to her. "Are foxes and raccoons your favourite animals?" She asked leaning her head on his shoulder as they looked out the window together.
