Er is verrekte veel te zeggen, en te liegen nog veel meer. Zoveel bagger bloot te leggen, al doet het graven nog zo zeer. Ik ben een eikel maar ik leer *
A familiar tune filled her head. Her mothertongue, a song she would listen to at 3 AM, alone in her bed. One she put on when she felt bad. At this point Hannah knew what this deep slumber meant. She was not really sleeping that well until she was gassed. The gass somehow made the dreams way more vivid. There she was standing in front of her family.
Her father was but a blur, she had not heard of him for so long. He would be around when she was young, sometimes taking her out for a day or two while she mainly lived with her mother. Then she got older and he came around less. At the age of 12 he only came around if he needed something. Money mostly or stuff he could sell. At 13 her mother had completely cast the man out of their lives and the only sign of her father being alive was the same old birthday letter she received until she was around 16 years old. Then there was her mother. Her sweet caring mother, she was tired. She always looked tired. Tired and on guard. She was holding on to her stepfather as if he was her lifeguard. In a way he was. The two of them did not have much and her mother getting together with the man she loved truly made things easier. Her stephfather was not a bad person. He was a good man in fact. Hannah avoided their looks. She had no excuse to not be in contact with them, yet seeing them made her feel.. tense. The images of her brother were destorted. She tried so hard to remember good things but he would always just, pick on her. Would he still? Even while being adults? He had manipulated her mother. She remembered clearly the night before she left.
"Maybe we should both grow up"
She was such a child still. Her mother had told her to move on. And that stung. As if her thoughts did not matter, as if she was making a big deal out of something that was not important. As if her feelings were not important. And maybe she was right. Maybe this was the reason she had felt so.. stupid to burden dorian with her feelings. With her stupid concerns.
Hannah felt she was waking up. She did not want to. Why the hell would she. At this point she did not see the point any more. Would she know the person she was roomed with? She opened her eyes sitting up and scanning the room. She had not been in this room before. She looked over to the other bed. She did not know who the man was. Well. Waking up someone with breakfast worked on Nicholas.. maybe it worked on this other man. God she hoped Nicholas, Dorian and Noah were okay. She got up.
"Goodmorning.. we haven't met yet I think.. do you want some breakfast?" She asked
* translation
There is so much to tell you, but so much more to lie about. There is a lot of dirt to dig up, even if this might hurt you. I might be bad but I am learning.

When Drake slowly woke up, he felt how his cheek leaned against something very soft. Mhh, what a nice feeling.. Just let him sleep a bit more... He tried to fall asleep again, but the piercing headach he felt kept him from doing so. His eyebrows furrowed and inwardly letting out a very deep sigh, he sat up with a hand pressed against his temple. That woman should really work on that gas formula...
He looked around and saw that he was in another room again. This one looked pretty nice actually, even nicer than the one he had been in with Cece. His eyes fall on his new roommate. A woman. On first glance, she seemed to be the motherly-type.
"Goodmorning.. we haven't met yet I think.. do you want some breakfast?" Yep. Motherly. But he wouldn't complain. "Morning...", he mumbled back and crocked a smile. "No, we haven't..." He also couldn't remember seeing her in the basement at the very beginning, but the memory was fading already.. it had been so many weeks ago and the faces of the people he only briefly saw were blurry.
The raven-haired got out of the bed and walked over to sit with her and take her offering of having breakfast together. "My name is Drake. Who are you?", he asked politely. He tried to sneak a peek at her hand to see if she was wearing a wedding ring or not, but her hands were hidden. To make her reveal it, he extended his own hand for a handshake. Nothing suspicious about that.

Hannah was a bit relieved to see the stranger was at least nice at first glance. She returned his smile with one of her own. " I thought so.." She was right. They had not met before. She wondered what this stranger had gone through so far. Was he one of the first ones to get here or was he new like Nicholas had been. Hannah did not remember everyone's faces and with new people getting added she could not be sure who had already been through hell and back. The man however seemed.. relaxed. Or at least 'not traumatized'. God it was bad she had to read people like that.
The man made his way over to her. She looked at the tray with breakfast. Granola with blueberries and raspberries. She looked up once the man asked her for her name. " Oh, sorry. My name is Hannah. Nice to meet you, I ehm. Wish it wasn't here though" She said as she gave the man a small smile to try and lighten the situation they were in. She gently took his hand as she was indeed wearing the simple wedding ring still, along with Dorians watch. God she was glad the watch was not taken from her. She did not want to lose it, especially after promising to keep an eye on it.
After the handshake she let go of his hand looking at the tray of food. " Milk or coffee?" she asked him.

The breakfast looked so delicious, he really needed to stop himself from just grabbing it all and choke it down in one bite. No, no. Show some manners. Drake took some of the food and slowly started to eat - at least slowly for his standards.
" Oh, sorry. My name is Hannah. Nice to meet you, I ehm. Wish it wasn't here though" Hannah...? Somehow that name rang a bell in his head. "Yeah..", he agreed and shook her hand. A ring. His mind chattered and he came to the quick conclusion that she must be the one who got shot with confetti in the first game and afterwards was forced to marry some guy from in here. So, they didn't get stuck with only the other after they got married. This realization confused him a bit, though. What the heck was that woman's goal?
" Milk or coffee?" At the mention of the black brewage, the man's green eyes glowed up a little. "Coffee, please. I've been dying to get some since.. weeks." He let her pour some coffee in for him and in the meantime ate some of the berries. When she offered him the cup, he took it and nodded his head in thanks.
"So... Hannah...", he said eventually with his cup of coffee in his hand. Mhhh, the smell. Oh, how he missed a good coffee in the morning. It immediately made him calmer and his mind awake. "It might not be the nicest topic to start with, but... are you the person who got forced to marry someone in here?", he asked straight out. He was never a person for small talk or beat around the bush.

Hannah got two cups as she got Drake and herself some coffee. She glanced over him as he waited for her to do so. He seemed hungry. The brunette was reminded of her time with freya. Had he been in one of those bad rooms before? She could understand his hunger. Going from that bad room to, if geoffs theory was right, the best room was a shock.
She handed the cup to him and he gladly took it. Seemed like he could use some. She herself just hoped to get some energy back. It was a new room to investigate and like Dorian had said before, they needed just one small mistake.
The males voice made her look up. She looked at drake when he asked her about her marriage to Geoff. She sighed and nodded slowly. "Yes, I was the first one to get married off. As you can see.. it does not really hold much significance. Yet I don't dare to take the ring off in fear of what might happen" she admitted. "Silly huh.." hannah added. So the information was spreading. That was good.. knowledge was power after all. "Are you.. aware of everything that happened so far?" She asked him. She would be able to fill him in for the most part.

"Yes, I was the first one to get married off. As you can see.. " He paused. "The first? Do you know of anyone else getting married off? ..I mean, except your.. 'husband'?", he asked curious. Just as he had expected - she wanted to marry them all off to each other. But, how many couples did she already force into this bond? How many 'singles' were left?
"it does not really hold much significance. Yet I don't dare to take the ring off in fear of what might happen. Silly huh.." He shook his head vehemently. "No, not at all.", he assured her and then kept talking in a lower voice. "I think it's a smart choice. There are cameras everywhere, she might get an idea to punish you if you were to take it off. I heard she's pretty....angry. I haven't seen her myself, but I heard from others.", he explained to her.
"Are you.. aware of everything that happened so far?" He thought for a moment and then shook his head. "I don't think so. I heard of the first... happenings, like the one with the confetti gun and your marriage..", he paused again to remember, "Mh... yeah no, that's all. Have you heard of anything else? Have you perhaps seen people named Cece, Claudette, David or Eliott..?"

Hannah sighed hearing his question. "So far, what I know of Geoff and I are the only married couple. However I do believe her intentions are to add more people to that list by doing more of those events" she told the man.
She held her cup of coffee in her hands and stared at it feeling the warmth. "Well whoever told you certainly was not lying" she said softly as she stared at the drink. She moved her gaze up to the man. "A lot happened.." she told him. She really felt like some kind of messenger, however everyone in this place deserved to know what they were up against.
Hearing him tell her what he knew and the people he was looking out for made her think. "Allright, so far the people you mentioned, I don't think they have gotten hurt. Well. Physically" she said.
"After the forced marriage, Geoff and I were put in another game. It was some kind of.. you know that card game where you have to match up cards? It was like that. I think this Cece person was there. She did not get hurt. However.. a young woman named lydia did.. we were supposed to match up two people with their cards but we could not speak about what we had. We failed and this woman she.. she shot Lydia, with a real gun this time " she said softly. Hannah did not like to tell this story again but they had to know mrs baker was dangerous. "There was anotger event where people had to play another game, they failed, two people named cassim and Della did not make it..The others I did not hear anything about" she confessed. Should she share her concerns for claudette or should she stay silent? She did not want to make him worry about nothing.
