Okay, so she looked through her notes... She swore to god, this room switch had been the longest yet. Maybe it’s because of the game, because of how they just didn’t really get along besides that one rare moment where they could be on the same page. Even that’s being too generous. As well as how both her roommates beforehand went pretty well, Keiari was absolutely sweet and did mean well. Even helped her by writing about the game, Cassim had been nothing but understanding to her... They were great. Part of her sinking as she knew that she couldn’t be 100% sure if they were okay or not. That’s what really hurt. She placed her book down, she knew she should have asked about tasks, experiences— she was having a burnout, the stress this place gave her atop of her slowly divulging mental state atop of her being in silence for the most part. So... For once, she’d just— have a normal conversation. What were those? Good question, anything that wasn’t game related. Knocking on the door. “Guten tag.”

Russel was trying to wake up his sleeping roommate, Elliot but, sadly, he wasn't waking up so, he was getting a bit worried. "Hey, kid. Wake up.." He said, whispering to him, having a bit of fear that he was having a silent heart attack or he was sleeping peacefully. "Hopefully, this kid will wake up soon.." He thought to himself as he was walking around the room, feeling his lockpick inside his pocket still. As he was about to sit down, he was hearing some sort of knock that was coming from the other side of the wall. He was walking towards the wall and heard some lady talking in a language that although wasn't familiar to him, he was assuming that someone was trying to great him. He kneeled down, making sure that there were no woodchips on the floor; He had to be very careful when it comes to exploring the rooms in general. He knocked on the wall back, a bit softer compared to the other room when it was him by himself just in case the roommate that he had was sleeping. "Good day to you too, miss." He greeted back, with a small sigh. This lady from her sound tone did sound nice. Might as well keep her company through conversation. "Anything interesting with you? Do you know any Jazz music?" He asked, starting the conversation.

"Anything interesting with you? Do you know any Jazz music?" She sighed, smiling softly. He reminded him of people she met in the south; with the warm tone of voice and the type who seemed like he enjoyed some soul food; iced tea and mac’n cheese and of course, jazz~ She grew fond of the genre in America, “Well, just been busy trying to figure this place out, besides that— depends which type of jazz.” Humming softly, “Personally, I prefer gypsy jazz or hard bop.” She loved the higher tempo and energy elicited from the beats. I seriously need to go in one of those posh jazzy clubs at some point.cAnything to help her feel some soul jazz in her veins. “What about you?”

He was hearing her on the other side, a happy sigh, so, Russel was thinking that the conversation started to have her think happy memories, which was a good sigh. He was having a happy flashback for a bit about him playing jazz songs for his wife and his kids; He enjoyed those memories very much. He wished that he was with her right now but, at least he had someone to talk about it with him at this moment. He heard her mentioning on trying to figure out this place of hell and his mind flashed back to the reality of not being with his wife children. "Yeah, I've been trying to think about on what kind of place is this too... I wish I was with my wife right now." He responded. The lady mentioned that she admired Gypsy Jazz or Hard Bop. Those two to Russel were amazing; He did remember his father showing him those types of Jazz too. "Oh yeah! My father showed me those when I was a kid. My daughter loved Hard Bop. I showed her those and she started to dance around my family room." He said, with a small chuckle, remembering Jenny going crazy over that music right away. He heard her question on what his favorite type of Jazz was and, damn; That was going to be a hard question to answer. "Mine would be Cool Jazz or New Orleans. Hard Bop is one of my favorites too. To be honest, I love all kinds of Jazz. I'm actually a drummer in my Jazz band, as a matter of fact." He responded, thinking that this was going to be happy distracting from thinking about the hellhole he was in. "If I showed you a collection of the records I collected over the years, I would, honestly." He said, sighing again.

—"Yeah, I've been trying to think about on what kind of place is this too... I wish I was with my wife right now."— Her eyes widened, blinking in rapid succession. She was happy for him, it was sweet but.. Why would married people be kidnapped? Or be put in these games that were all romance themed, in one odd way or the next. She knew she could easily write about it, she breathed out a soft huff. Smiling softly, “That’s sweet, how did you two meet?” With how he asked her about jazz— she assumed it was something related to jazz or it’s what was common between them. After she told him her favorites she heard when she had been new to America; being fascinated by the culture when she moved from Europe— had really been interested in it’s politics, history and music. They truly didn’t fail her. This place is a wild card. She loved it. — "Oh yeah! My father showed me those when I was a kid. My daughter loved Hard Bop. I showed her those and she started to dance around my family room."— Her smile widened, aw.. It just reminded her of the shenanigans her and her sister would indulge in, it was a simpler time pack then. Though she did feel bad.. His family must be worried sick.. Another reason on trying to get to the bottom of this. “Aw, is it just you, your daughter and wife? Or are their more kids?” Sighing softly as she felt her chest relaxing. —Bum.. —. . . —Boom.. That was much better, she genuinely get a warm impression of the man. It was really sweet, exactly what she needed. He told her how he was part of a jazz band and a drummer in a jazz band of his. Smiling warmly, “Ooh, did you always want do something related to jazz? Family tradition in a way?” Did his parents play a role? Or was it more of a personal passion? —"If I showed you a collection of the records I collected over the years, I would, honestly."— She chuckled, smiling warmly. That was sweet of him, she sat down against the wall and smiled up, “I’d be down for that, I collected old VHS tapes so I’d love to play what I have on those.” The fact that her body and mind was cooler then how it had been in years really made her smile. “How’s your daughter like?” Grinning softly.

Hearing the young lady's question on how the two met made Russel a bit happy that she was interested in him talking about his family before the whole kidnapping situation happened in the first place. He was still shocked on as to why someone would kidnap single people, and also those who were married in the first place. He wanted to know that question himself but, at least he had a positive memory of her and his family. He gave out a big huff coming out of his voice since this was going to be a bit of a story to tell. "Well, my wife, Tia and I met in a local high school and we were both teachers. She taught literature and I taught mainly Jazz music. She would come into my class and enjoy my teaching; She would be dancing in the classroom, and seeing that reaction puts a smile on my gosh-darn face."
He chuckled at the thought of his wife listening to his music, missing those times before they had kids. He then started to blush a bit when it came to the part when he had a hard time talking to her due her sass and beauty but, he knew that she was a sweetheart. "I had strong feelings for her when I first met her. I was shy to ask her out a couple of times. I didn't grow up with a mother, so, I didn't know much about women back then. So, I had to get help from my co-workers to give me tips on how to ask Tia out. They would give me tips on how to ask her out and with their confidence, I finally asked her out and we've been together ever since. She invited me to parents' house for dinner and I got to know her parents; I showed them my Jazz records and showed them my love for music, and they loved it. Tia even showed me her love for literature since her mother was a publisher for a book company. Tia was a wonderful dancer too; While we were dating, we used to dance at the Jazz Clubs and Jazz Bands; Such wonderful times. A couple of years later, I went down on one knee, asked her to marry me; We got married, had kids. Introduced them to music. Best times ever." Her responded, finishing off this story.
While she was listening, the conversation transitioned into Russel talking about his family loving his taste in music and he could tell that the young lady enjoyed the stories that he was telling to her. He then a thought of his own family missing him at this very moment; Maybe Tia did file him as a missing person the day he was gone after that one argument. He did think about his poor daughters. "I miss them so much.." He thought to himself as a tear started to come down from his eye. "No time for crying Russel; Think about the good times." He murmured to himself softly as he was trying to think about her next question. It was about who was in the family. "Well, in my household before being in this damn place. Its mainly me, my wife Tia, and my three children. I had two girls and one boy. My son had Autism. As soon we found out the diagnosis, we did everything we did to help him by teaching him life skills, how to read and even trying to give him a good personality to be kind towards other people." He explained, sighing a sigh of happiness, feeling like a proud father to help Andrew be a good son.
He then heard her question about him doing something with Jazz. He was glad to hear that question since that music genre played a big part of his life. It. happened from the beginning when his father introduced it to him in the first place. "Yes, I did indeed did something in Jazz. My father introduced it to me from very young. He would show me on how to play the drums and gave me a lot of music lessons. After attending some concerts with him, I knew that was going to be a personal dream of mine by hearing the rhythm, acknowledging myself to follow certain patterns, and getting to know on different types of Jazz. Honestly, learning those from top to bottom was wonderful. "It did become a family tradition. I was hosting concerts with my band for charity events for my son. I wanted to do something for Autism research so, I thought this would be perfect. Seeing the people coming over to see the many concerts I performed made me feel really happy. As for my daughters? Oh, you would love them. They were the joys of my eye. Olivia was a great girl. She wanted to be a Jazz singer, just like Billie Holiday. Jenny, my other daughter loved to dance and she loved tap dancing. So, I took her for tap dancing lessons and she loved it. She practiced a lot of it." He responded, sighing since those were happy memories that he would never forget.
Hearing that she collected old VHS tapes was interesting. Maybe she collected a lot of the Jazz tapes that were sold in stores or it was something like a hobby she liked to do. "You collect VHS tapes? That's very cool. What kind of tapes were there? Were they music tapes or historical tapes?" He asked, with a curious tone in his voice. He never heard of someone young who would collect those in his life. A couple of classmates that he used to know did collect old vintage items like statues and records, but, VHS tapes was intriguing for sure.
