I'll be a good girl... I'm sorry.

Post by Keiari Saul on May 9, 2020 2:25:16 GMT
Keiari listened to Geoff's reasoning. Her head lowering as she tried to block out the pain the ropes were doing to her wrists currently. Moving them just a little to try and twist out of them, but even though her wrists were small- they weren't small enough to break free on her own. In fact, it only served to hurting her a bit more. Causing her body to wince slightly. Stopping herself from struggling. Now waiting for him to come to her and help her out.
But slowly her mind started shutting off, her stare went to the floor. Not paying attention to anyone as her mind got fuzzy. Her eyes closing tight, whatever tears she had finally falling straight to the floor. But letting out no sound, too tired and dehydrated to do such a thing. Geoff was forced to do this... she was glad she hadn't lashed out on him. But her remark of him not being worth it was not called for...
I'm sorry...
She thought before she felt someone grab the rope, causing her snap out of her daze, looking up at Geoff in shock. Flinching violently from him, staring into shock. Though she soon calmed down once remembering he was there to help them.
With her hands and legs being free, she got up and rubbed her wrists. Looking at him before looking away.
"I'm sorry..."
Was all she could say before she rushed on over to Kim, Sawyer and Jessica. Going straight up to Sawyer and hugging her. Trying not to break down in her friend's arms. While grabbing the other two's arms gently and bring them closer to them as well.

"No Sawyer. He isn't worth it."
Hearing Keiari's words, Sawyer glanced at her friend out of the corner of her eyes. She definitely wasn't in the mood to hear any of that with how high her emotions were; it wasn't like she was gonna sucker punch the guy (even if she felt he deserved it). But after a second of meeting Keiari's eyes, the brunette slowly closed her mouth and chose to glare instead, focusing her attention on Tony Starks' explanation―but not without keeping her eyes on him and the gun on the table... just in case.
The man looked scared and confused as well. And as he began explaining, she watched as he held up a note. She couldn't read it from where she sat without her glasses on (and it being rather dim in the room to read well anyway), but as far as she was concerned, it didn't really answer any questions or make the situation any better. Especially when he mentioned not knowing the gun was a fake―in fact it only made the situation that much worse. So he... he did it anyway? Thinking one of us would die!? she thought as a shudder went up her spine.
It definitely wasn't something the brunette wanted to think about. She wasn't even sure what was worse: having the guy be in on the joke or having him blindly following through with whatever instructions he was given. Swallowing hard, she continued to watch him as he apologized for scaring them. But yet all she could do was frown. It seemed like such a weak response for someone who just threatened their lives―even if it was in a matter to save himself. Maybe if she was no longer in this room, she could ask herself what she'd do in this situation and understand more where he was coming from. But for now? Now she was tied up, terrified, and looking in the face of someone who made her feel that terror.
And all it did was fuel her anger.
Biting her tongue to keep from yelling at him again for Keiari's sake, Sawyer continued to keep her eyes glued on Geoff as he moved behind the table to begin freeing Jess, her own body tense and still shaking from both anger and fear. She could barely keep up with any of what was happening. He scares us then decides to help us..? she thought confused, her face scrunched up suspiciously. It was more than the brunette could process emotionally... or logically for that matter. So when he then moved to free her own hands, she couldn't repress herself from flinching instinctively at his touch. Could she even trust him now? She didn't know him well enough or have any proof to say otherwise...
But as soon as the ropes were removed, Sawyer brought her arms forward and began to rub at her burnt wrists. They were red from her fighting against them, but nothing else happened. He didn't hurt her and instead moved on to the next person, muttering apologies to them too. It made her bite her lip while she became lost in a rollercoaster of emotions and relief. Luckily for Tony Stark, she didn't use those scratched wrists against him... least not yet, anyway. He helped her, and so she would refrain herself―for now. She just hoped he wouldn't do anything else to make her use them.
Sitting up from her seat, she wandered to a corner of the room and settled herself by her closest friends, her arms crossed and her eyes lowered towards the gun on the table in a scowl. Only when Keiari ran to her did she throw her arms around her and hug her tight. She felt far too tired and emotional to think about any of the questions in her head right now; everything was simply a blur. What the fuck is going on, she muttered silently in her head as she clung onto Keiari and her other friends. The familiar touch made her eyes water, her emotions threatening to overflow. "I'm so glad you guys are okay," she whispered quietly, hugging them even tighter.

When Katherine was untied she looked at him, stood up and placed her hand on his shoulder in comfort "This was probably terrifying for you as well. You didn't deserved to be shouted at. You are probably in the same boat as us. Confused and possibly frightened." She smiled. He looked like a nice guy. She rubbed her wrist because now it hurt more than ever.
"Anyways I'll let you continue to umm untie the girls and..." She really didn't know what to say to him. She didn't know if any of her words were comforting him, hell they could be making him uncomfortable. "My name is Katherine by the way. I'm sure this won't be the last time we will see one another." She smiled and then went over to Della and then Hannah to make sure how they were although probably for Hannah, she knew that her friend would not be happy.

"Ideally," Ideally?! Ideally what? The man was saying this to them while untying the young brunette girl who had untied her back in the basement. "there should be a bigger room or hall behind the dining room doors. Maybe the others are behind there." He continued and it infuriated her more. So there were more people behind this sick little game? Or was that his story or just more lies? While waiting to be untied she took a moment to look at the other girls. Some clearly knew this man and were mad at him clearly, but somehow that anger manifested in disappointment and sadness rather than straight action. The ones who didn't know him were just as hurt by this game.
Claudie looked at her wrists that had deep gashes where the rope had dug into her skin. Carefully she touched the stung skin and hissed at the pain. She began to relive the moments she had just experienced. The other girls who knew each other withdrew into a small group by themselves to nurse their physical and mental wounds. Claudie looked at the man again then again at the other girls who were all avoiding him for obvious reasons. They were afraid. The man looked sorry in a way, like he knew he had fucked up, but still it didn't fix the situation. Well, if no one else was going to do anything she would. Decisively Claudie took the few steps towards the man. Flung her arm up as high and far she could. Taking an aim to the man's face and with as much force as she could muster she brought her hand down to connect with his face. The slap that resulted from the action was satisfying as it echoed through the room. Her palm was tingling as she withdrew her hand. Now he was fearing someone just like they had feared him just moments ago. Now they were even. She stood there for a moment and stared daggers into his eyes. There was no need for words was there? She knew he thought he deserved it. Claudie turned away from the man and walked away to the other side of the room.

And before the girls or Geoff could undertake more decisions, the room was filled with gas that slowly put everybody to sleep again.
